Building a Home

Ideas for 2 storey building (for a family of 4)

Greeting to All.
I am looking for some ideas to build our family home for 4 adults. I am new to this forum and also new to design a costumed home by myself. I have been looking at numerous websites to get a rough idea. Basically I want a modern house with lots of big/tall windows to have a lots of sun light. I hope you can help to shed some lights in designing a small 2 story home. Living area is ~2000 sq ft. Garage/Mud Room is not compulsory.
