Guess Not?

Hi newoldhouser, I was up at our build for the summer but was cut short due to a family crisis, so back home for a few. I haven't made the time to learn our digital or how to post but have some 35mm pics i could send you. Another avenue is for you to find a certainteed roofer in your area and contact them to direct you to local projects that have used grand manors.

Imo, the website doesn't do them justice as they are even more awesome than we expected. We are very happy with the astetics as well as the technical aspect of the shingle. They are heavy! I should be back up to the build early august at the latest. Some folks down the road from us took some digitals in feb.,(with over 1 foot of snow on the house!) and sent them to our e-mail. I could ask them to take some close ups of the grand manors and have them e-mailed to your e-address. Let us know unless you have to make a decision before then. Take care.

Thanks Sierra, I did just what you suggested and The roofing supply company rode me all around the town showing me the Grand Manor in the different colors. I was very impressed and ended up ordering the Colonial Slate. It should start going up in a few weeks! I am very happy with the decision, even though they were a bit pricey! Thanks for getting back to me.

Glad it worked out, NOH. It makes a difference to actually see a roof type on a house that you can see up close and personal. It's hard to judge off the web or looking at a single sample, so it's great that your roofing supplier made that time. Hopefully the price will be justified with longevity, they are a fine looking shingle. We went with gatehouse slate. Best of luck with your project!
