Wood Burning Fireplace Inserts

I know I should post this in the Fireplace forum, but wanted to see what you all were using in your new build.

What isn't considered "builder grade"?

I read that FMI and Lennox are both builder grade, but they both look quite nice to me. We like the Lennox Estate and the FMI Plantation.

Our house will be sealed pretty tightly and very energy efficient, but we still love a wood burning fireplace for ambiance and that homey feeling. We are in DC Metro.

We installed the Regency Hampton HI 300 insert in our previous house and we were really happy with the performance and appearance of the insert. We ordered the brown enamel finish.

Here is a link that might be useful: Hampton insert
