Lot placement software

Does anyone know of good software or web site for planning new build lot placement? I'd like to be able to plan out setbacks, driveway, outbuilding, home and pool to scale.... and lay it out over a satellite image or at least an image that I could manually create wooded areas.

Tracing paper and a pencil works great. Low tech isn't dead yet, and it's more versatile.

Get a Google Map image of the lot, as large as you can zoom into, being sure to include the scale bar.

Load that into any drawing program that will let you use "layers". The image will stay on the bottom layer and you can scribble on the top layers.
