We want to have 2 windows flanking our king sized bed. How far should the windows be spaced apart? Should the edge of the window be at the edge of the bed? How high should the windows be off the floor? Thanks for any help.

What about night stands? And will you need/want the windows to be operable? Our king bed measures 7' wide, so if we wanted windows above/behind the nightstands, I'd put the inside edges 7' 6" or so apart. If the windows were designated egress windows, then I'd go 11' or so apart. Height from floor would follow that same logic. Higher if they'd be behind the nightstands; lower (and taller) if not.

You also need to take into account window treatments and millwork.
