Wiring for home entertainment - Smurf tube question

We want to have access to change wire within the walls in a few places in our new home and we were wondering if there is a reason to use smurf tubing vs standard PVC piping. Obviously smurf tubing is easier to use, but is there any other reason I may be missing?

It would be nearly imposable to pull wires through the typical 90 degree plumbing fittings.

Even with smurf tubing you need to make sure you have wide sweeping turns with a large radius.

What do you mean by "standard PVC piping"?

Water pipe?

Non-metallic conduit?

Smurf tube is Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing, I meant water pipe by standard PVC tubing.

Just curious if there is an advantage to using the smurf tube/Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing, other than just ease of installation?

Smurf tubing should be a lot cheaper then PVC water pipe.

Do NOT use the smallest dimension of smurf tubing.

Smurf Tubing is much easier to use when running between studs or going from one floor to the next since it is flexable and comes in lengths greater then 10' without having to use PVC Cement.

I used it in my new build to run from the attic to the basement, knowing I was going to get satellite cable and they would need to get a wire from the roof to the basement.

I used smurf tubing where I knew I would want to have run additional cabling in the future. Very easy to work with! All my smurf tubing is empty, I ran all my current wiring outside the tubing and left the smurf pipe for future use only.
