I have searched for advice on tipping the foreman, but have only come up with "bring sandwiches" or advice not to tip the GC/owner. In this case, the time for sandwiches is over and the foreman is not the owner. I guess it goes without saying that the foreman is held in high esteem and some appreciation is in order. Any thoughts or experience? TIA

I didn't give food to the crew, but at the end of the job we tipped the 3 main guys, who work for our GC, and were here 90% of the time. We gave them $500 each.

Thanks Chispa! That is good information. I was thinking along the lines of several hundred bucks for this job....a gift card to a restaurant didn't seem right. Anyone else faced this decision?
