OC vs GAF roofs

I've narrowed down my roof choices to Owens Corning Duration Driftwood and GAF Timberline HD Weathered Wood... any comments on either in regards to the look, quality, etc...
It looks from the sample board that the OC shingles have more variation of color ... has anyone seen the duration on a roof completed? Is it too much? Also, it appears the driftwood has more grays while the weathered wood has grays and browns. Anyways we are needing to make a decision and still don't know the exact color we will be painting the house. Most likely a neutral gray or taupe .... thanks for any help you can give!

Did you ever get a response? What did you decide to go with? We installed GAF HD Timberline Barkwood shingles on our roof, but we haven't moved in yet, so no way to review. I love that color but we don't know about the color choices you were choosing from. I wonder if I should've gone with OC, if it's a better quality product.
