Builder Contract Signature

My builder and I are preparing to sign the contract to build my home in another city. We have been sending the contract back and forth via email. Would like to know if we can scan our signatures to the contract and send via email and have it be just as legal as if we had signed the paper contract.

Yes, you can. As long as it is a hand-signature it is just as legal. I have a hand-sig that I have saved in my computer to sign important documents all the time in the corporate world. It holds up the same. You can always do the transaction electronically and ask to have an original with hand-signature sent to you via mail.
