Noise Reduction

Hi!

We built our current home 10 years ago & have plans to build another one soon. We love our home but one problem we have is sound from 1st floor to the 2nd. Not so much noise, but vibrations! If you are sleeping you have feel someone downstairs stomping their feet! We have hardwood throughout, 2,400 sq ft. Insulated between floors... What can we do in next build to avoid this problem?!

Have the builder install above minimum code required joists.
