Pictures of Cedar Shingle Siding

In process of selecting siding, I cant believe how many choices there are for Cedar white vs red, handsewn vs un and so on.

I think I have decided on the white cedar pre stained with two coats of my choice stain or paint. Does anyone have any thoughts or pictures they can share? Thanks

We have used Maibec pre-stained white cedar shingles with great success. It is on a house overlooking the Hudson River. We used the bleached shingle and it looks good 3 years later and will weather to a whitish grey over time. It was Cabots bleaching stain that Maibec uses.
