This is the general size house we are looking for except one story. Nothing over the top but nice. We received a quote from this company for 40K less than another company. We have only received 2 quotes so far. I'm looking at the two bids and I really can't see where the $40,000 difference is coming from. The higher bid company is using silverline windows which i have read are not that great. Company b is using andersone 200 series for our windows. He showed me two houses. One using 200 and the other using silverline and to me it was a huge difference in quality. The higher bid company makes some beautiful houses and are more well known. How did you finally pick a builder!? its crazy. Let me know what you think of the model home. I realize its not as fancy as what a lot of you are building but it works well for our needs. |

| Ps. everything seemed well made. Dovetail on cabinets. Floors didn't squeak. Foundations looked ok to me. Not sure what I was looking at. Garage was insulated. |

| You could ask the higher bidder to explain the differences. That's what a friend of mine did and he explained things that someone not in the business probably wouldn't know. |

| looking at the link is there anything that jumps out at you as strange or as a red flag? i guess that would be the question. I have no idea what i'm looking for when i look at a model. The floors didn't squeak so i was pretty happy. |
