width of window trim/corners

just wanting to see everyone's thoughts on this.

right now our house is coming with what I assume is the standard width for corner trim...about 3" - 3.5". our window trim is going to be wider at around 4.5" - 5" or so.

my question is: should I leave it as is or go with a wider corner trim to match the size of the window surrounds? we've been back and forth on this decision and really don't know what the rules are when it comes to this. maybe it's personal preference? but i'd like to hear some opinions, if possible. thanks everyone!

edit: just wanted to say that the house will be double 4 vinyl siding (dark grey with white corner & white window trim) and has more of a traditional style to it.

The trim size is entirely dependent on the style of the house and your taste. But, in general, if the window trim is going to be wide, I would expect the corner trim to be wide as well. Do you have an elevation drawing?

sorry, here's the elevation.

we're still working on a few things like a longer, fixed window to the right, larger foyer window and to center the foyer/front door...but ignore that part.

edit: sorry, but not sure how to get the pic to be facing right-side up.
