I would do a 6'8 door with a transom above to match front door.

I was thinking that but what to do with remaining doors in the room including garage entry door.

I agree, match the front door by having a transom.

The interior doors to our main floor bedrooms, hall bath, living room and laundry/mud room all have antique glass transoms over them. The door from the garage to the laundry/mud room and the closet in that room do not have transoms over them. Obviously, I don't have a problem with having that difference.

Do you have any doorways off the front door entry? Do they have transoms? If not, wouldn't it be similar to the situation with the mudroom?

I don't think matching interior door height to outside entry doors and transoms matter. We had transom over our exterior door of our master bedroom and regular 6'8 doors though out the rest of the room and never thought it looked funny. They matched the rest of the interior doors in the home.

We have a similar main door (ours is a 2 story foyer) and family door configuration with 10' ceilings. We ordered 8' double doors for the main entrance and a 6'8" door for the family door. The family door area also has 7' doors to the pantry, a guest bedroom and a 7' coffered opening to the kitchen and a mud room. Since the family door porch is wider, I thought using taller doors on the main door only would help define that entrance.
