We built a new home and moved in beginning of November. I know that houses will settle, or as some say dry out. Just wondering what how much is too much....

I found out after moving in a cabinet (the whole run?) is not flush to the wall. They filled with caulk and looks like painted it. Just noticed this weekend that it has pulled away from the wall. Or the wall has moved?

The granite is now almost a 1/2" away from the wall.

The cabinet is a bit over 1/2" away.

The cabinet above looks like it will be doing the same.

Also, the cabinet crown is now longer at the ceiling. It has dropped over a 1/4" and you can see the nail. Not sure why they nailed it to the ceiling??

Is this type of movement normal? Will the crown have to be replaced so it actually goes to the ceiling? Should I be worried that it appears my wall is trying to run away?
