I'm curious if anyone has used the NuCedar Shingles? We are preparing to build in the mountains where there is about 300 inches of snow a year. We want something low maintenance and reading about the performance, the website touts low moisture absorption. I would welcome any comments

There PVC or Vinyl, if that's what you price them and see how they compare to Cedar Impressions or some of the others out there.
|
Is pvc better or worse than cement fiber in snowy conditions or does it matter?

All a matter of personal preference in my opinion.
