Chief Architect Help/Question

Posted by kberrie1 (My Page) on

For anyone that uses Chief Architect:

I am very new to Chief Architect, and just downloaded the free/trial version to play around. When constructing a room in CA, I type the dimensions by clicking on the number:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

You can see that it is 10x10:

But when you label the room it shows as one inch shorter:

Just curious if I have something wrong...

TIA

RE: Chief Architect Help/Question

The 10-0 dimension is the structural dimension (face of studs) and the 9-11 dimension is the finish dimension (face of drywall).
