I would delete the kitchen entrance in the upper right corner and let the counter return.

Make the main circulation corridor a foot wider and make it more useful even if it is only a photo gallery.

Why would the pantry enter off of a corridor?

Why two islands? It looks like a test kitchen.

Use swinging doors instead of pocket doors; no one will actually close them.

Get the half bath fixtures off of the living room wall.

Create some kind of visual element to show where the kitchen/dining area stops and the family room starts.

It is wise to avoid a blind corner at a top stair riser especially if kids or the elderly will use the house.
