We are finishing our basement! Builder is here today to frame in the walls and I am having a little panic attack because I am not mentally prepared for this! I'll probably be posting a little more frequently in the coming weeks!

So we have a support wall running through the center of our basement except for an open 20 odd feet for a living area. Obviously we have a support beam there. He asked me if I was planning on boxing it in and I told him I just wasn't quite sure yet! Originally I wAntes to tray the ceiling in that living area but after looking at it I'm not sure I can due to the plumbing, etc in the ceiling there. My husband had suggested boxing it in and having a drywall box go around so there's a tray affect. But I'm thinking that may look strange? Thoughts or suggestions?
