| Hi ,
We are building our first home. Our builder had told us that he will be screwing and glueing our floorboards in and when we checked we found that he is using nails with screw-like threads. I think they're called ring shanks(??) According to him, the glue will make the real difference in preventing creaky floors and the nails or screws will just hold the glue down. Is he right? Should we ask him to add screws also? Thanks |
