| Looking for opinions, particularly regarding the master bedroom being located off the 'back' hall that connects the garage to the kitchen. My wife is afraid that might be kinda "weird," and I don't necessarily disagree, although I'm less "weirded out."
We drew this layout (from scratch), as we wanted the Master on the main level and as much sun coming into the living room and kitchen/dining as possible without sticking the kitchen on the front of the house (bottom/ south side). Most of the sun will come into the kitchen in the afternoon/evening on the West side. There is a tall tree line to the East which would limit the light on that side in the morning, thus why we put the garage there. We really like this layout (we think..., feel free to critique- we're still moving kitchen and bathroom features around), but the main concern is the location of the Master Bedroom entry. Any thoughts? Thanks. |
