| oh jabba, jabba, jabba! ARE YOU STILL OUT THERE!?! i am forever grateful for your continued posts (your pics really helped us through some tough days, where it looked like we would NEVER get there ourselves). DH & i would have built in VT in a heartbeat, but found a great deal out by the ocean (Long Island) HOWEVER i am insanely jealous of your home & the amazing foliage that you can see everyday!! PS- my dog is still insanely jealous of Bo's room!! best wishes & enjoy in the greatest of health & happiness. |

| What a beautiful home! Love your picture album, with the explanations. How did you do that? |
| It is a photo blog. Companies like google and yahoo allow you to create your own web page with pictures and descriptions. I used a service called typepad to post the information. It costs a monthly fee - some others are free. www.typepad.com |

| Love your trimwork and built ins. What type of flooring is that on the first floor? How are you liking the soapstone counters? |
| The flooring on the first is brazilian cherry (Jatoba). Looks great - little more maintenance because of the dark color. The counters are actually Vermont green slate not soapstone - we love, love, love them. Easy to take care of but look and feel great. |

| how did you decide on a manufacturer and what exact color did you use. We are building a beach house and going through that process now. Your home is wonderful. Thanks |
| The builder and roofer recommended the manufacturer (I don't even remember the name). The color is slate gray. Good luck. |
