Looking for something different for front door. I am looking for something other than the standard door and sidelite thing. So...let's see some residential fronts!

How about a revolving door? I haven't seen one of those installed in a residence lately. Living up north, it would come in handy but you might loose a cat or two.

Seriously, what style house are you building? I need more info to give suggestions.

We are just getting ready to dig the end of this month, and it is a total of 3548 sq ft. 2 story. It is 80 feet wide and about 43 feet deep and then a 12x12 sunroom off the back of home. It has a 2 story foyer. All brick and stone front. Hipped roof lines. No other vaulting in home except for the 2 story foyer. Inside the front door and off to the left is the staircase and there is an opening going into the dining room right before the staircase. We currently have on the plans a front door with sidelights and a large arched "eyebrow" window above the front door.
