| We've been planning a new build for the last year and have spent a lot of time lurking and reading on this site for great tips. Now we'd to have some feedback on our plan. Debating whether we should have vaulted ceiling in living room, thoughts? Meeting with architect in a few weeks. |

| Add some overhangs that are the same structure/material as the roof above the first floor windows in the back. I wish I could describe this better, but there are several homes near me that are designed that way and it looks really great! |
