As I recall the architect threw out a churlish post that said he felt he wasn't welcome here and that he was leaving us for greener pastures so I doubt we'll be hearing from him again. If only he knew what angst he caused on the BAH forum!

Yes, I'm afraid said architect felt that large numbers of posters were *anti-architect*. Whether or not that is true, I believe that most of us were actually *anti-rude, condescending, superior, argumentative architect who posts to the forums*.

And he has this big chicken that goes with him everywhere (helps him cross the road). He's rants about cabinet prices, people spending money on granite, and other stuff, but other than that he's pretty ok.

Right now he's on vacation at Disney. I think he was standing in the beer line last we heard.

I've never been to Disney (as an adult)... do they even SELL beer there? Or is that how parents cope with the screaming, mind boggling rides (and kids, for that matter) as well as spend a small fortune in the tourist shops?

Has anyone emailed Spike to plead for release? Maybe if we drown him with tears he will decide we have all suffered enough.

Although, it has been kinda fun. For him it's probably like in Huck Finn when they come back to hear their own Eulogies. You know how sometimes people disappear and it takes you awhile to notice? Take TexasGal5, for example. Since she'd just finished her house I assumed she jumped ship. I didn't know for a long time that she'd headed to the big D. Anybody else around here?

Having been to Disney, I can tell you it is no fun... The only possible hope of being allowed to return here is to plead for mercy. That may/may not work. And I understand it doesn't do much good to plead on someone else's behalf, which is pretty sad.

I wonder if we could/should start something up somewhere so that even the NEPs (now exiled posters) could join in the conversation.

ER: Mine lasted about 10 days until I could no longer bear the agony. I pleaded and begged and promised to always behave from that point on so I was granted re-entry but with a stern warning.

I'm not really a stickler for rules, and I don't really care, but I've watched this happen in a number of different forums over several years. And when people make a lot of noise about someone else that got Disneyed, gee, those people tend to disappear to the teacups, too. So I am just passing along observations from several years of reading these forums.

I did not know texasgal went to disney also. i thought she was just busy with her new house. I hope cheerit did not go to disney either.

I miss both those posters, too. texasgal is apparently a victim of her own beliefs (poor girley; I hope the scorpions didn't run her out! and, does she like her two storied family room now?), but Cheerit dumped us. She's posted in furniture & child raising many times. Too bad.
