Manhattan Cherries in Cognac

Posted by Billym128 (My Page) on

Had the best Manhattan where the cherries were in Cognac. The bartender said you can purchase them but are hard to find. Also you can make your own. I have looked on the net and have found nothing, does anyone know where you can purchase these or know of a recipe to make your own. Thanks, Bill

Dump the juice out of a bottle of marischino cherries.....drain well and fill with cognac.
Also try making your manhatten with brandy.....that's the way they do it in Winsconsin.
