How much in a 'packet' Tartaric Acid & Cream of Tartar

Posted by Joanmary_z10 (My Page) on

I am making gingerbeer but the recipe calls for 'a packet' of tartaric acid and 'a packet' of Cream of Tartar. I know 'a packet of yeast is 1/4 ounce, not that knowing that helps me with my problem. Would appreciate help. Thanks.

I found a recipe calling for a 25 gram packet of tartaric acid. I don't know if they come in different sizes.

Thanks Ginger_St_Thomas. Its the little things in life that count, isn't it! Having the correct proportions, and someone who is kind enough to pass information on! Happy New Year
