Hi, I'm looking for a recipe for a Salvadorian Fruit drink called "Ensalada". This drink in not alcoholic. It is made of fresh fruits such as apples, and plums... I think it even has some coconut but I'm not sure. If you have this recipe please do share it with me. Thanks a bunch.

i found this on palo alto online--hard to find a specific recipe but maybe this is a start? The ensalada is really fruit salad posing as a drink: a brightly colored slushy replete with pineapple, orange, tiny pieces of apple and fresh mint. No alcohol in it

Just a note - Ensalada does not have coconut - nor plums. It will Always have apples, pineapple, Maranon (Cashew Fruit Apple) found frozen in Latin American Markets - that gives it the special flavor - you add in water and sweeten to taste.

I tasted this drink in the prepared-foods section of Whole Foods market and asked the chef how to make it. I don't have the proportions but this is what he said:
Blend a couple of oranges with water (I assumed a quart) in a blender. Then add julienned radishes, cucumber, green apple, watercress, and green papaya. Sugar to taste. Chill overnight. It's a Salvadoran recipe and I've found it several places on-line (in Spanish). If you want to translate the recipes on-line you can search 'Ensalada des Frutas drink recipe'.
