Various Liqueur Recipes

Does anyone know how long you can keep homemade liqueur? I want to make some as Christmas presents, but the majority of them say to store in a refrigerator for 2 weeks. I'd like to start making some now, but not if I have to throw away in 2 weeks. If I sealed the cap with wax, would that work?

Most keep forever.....the 2 weeks mean at least 2 weeks...more is fine.
The only exceptions are those with cream and eggs like Irish cream liquors. But fruit, sugar and alcohol keeps forever.
