Do yourself a favor. If you like malted milk shakes, you will love scotch milk shakes (scotch whisky is made from malt). Use about 1 oz. liquor to 16 oz ice cream and milk. I recommend pre-cooling the liquor and blender container in a freezer because alcohol lowers the freezing point of the shake. I find that cheap ice cream works almost as well as expensive ice cream.

"Sounds?" - Try it today and thank me later. These liquors also work well: 1. Myers dark rum 2. Southern Comfort 3. Bourbon 4. Kirschwasser

A bar near me makes alcoholic milkshakes. They gave us a whole bunch of samples. I thought they were sort of awful.

How about a little Baileys Irish cream? Mmmmm, they make chocolate mint, caramel and coffee flavors now. I think I will try the scotch too. I have some Johnnie Walker....thanks
