| This is a little late for any New Years parties, but I need advice. I am not that familiar with champagne. I've had some bad and some good, but am not quite sure what kind to purchase. The ones I liked the most were a little bit sweet and not puckery dry! Can someone suggest a good champagne at a reasonable price? |

Do you want real Champagne or a sparkling wine in the Champagne method. Only Champagne from the the Champagne region of France can be labeled Champagne. There are a number of Countries including the US that make really good and reasonably priced Sparkling wines. Two to try that are quite reasonable are Codorniu Cuvee Raventos a Cava from Spain about $18.00 Canadian and Seaview Brut from Australia. I think this one was just under $12.00 Canadian.
Or try something produced in the US from Domaine Chandon, Chateau St. Jean or Gloria Ferrer. Ann. |
