We have had our Miele pair for about 2 years now and suddenly things are coming out with heavy and light wrinkles. The only thing that we changed was using more detergent rather than using additives due to our very, very hard water. With this change, things were fine at first. Then, now that it’s more hot outside the AC and fans are on more, and the dryer drying times have increased. And the clothes are drying far more wrinkled. I don’t know if it’s the ac and fans causing the issue or maybe the increased detergent is affecting the calcium level, which can be altered with the dryer. The dryer instructions say to only adjust the calcium setting when washing with very low water hardness, which definitely isn’t us, unless the increased detergent equates to washing in very low water hardness. any ideas or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

LG WASHING MACHINE - top loading LG Inverter, Direct Drive. Also with Steam Cycle. This is my experience. Mine is an expensive piece of garbage! I am tempted to ship both washer and dryer back to LG headquarters and have them do a load of wash and then dry and see what they think of their products! I also did a ton of research before investing in this set and what a major disappointment. The washing machine does not clean clothes properly, there is not enough water even with the “water plus” to move out the stains. Yes, I’ve had to rewash 2 or 3 times. Then the wrinkles are beyond wrinkles. I’ve never in my life seen such a mess of my laundry. I will wash a fitted,flat, and 2 pillow cases for a queen bed. Terrible results. I have tried with a couple articles, Terrible results. The dryer, I can’t even go there. I know how to do laundry after 50 years I know how to load a washing machine and a dryer. I also know how to read the manuals and LG gets a major fail. Most people, like myself will try and work around the issues because it’s another big hassle and a huge expense to replace but boy, am I frustrated. I have called customer support numerous times and the only response would be “that I must be loading wrong and once was asked to hold my phone by the washing machine and they would analyze the situation.” I have a land-line and the young chap didn’t know what that was. I’ve finally given up. I will never buy another LG product and as far as reviews and consumer information, well that will be with a grain of salt. I’m not sure how a consumer is supposed to make an educated decision other than I can chalk it up that I have a lemon but it looks like there’s a lot of lemons out there. When I’m ready to buy again I will not even donate these; that’s how frustrating wash day has become. Machines are approximating 3 years old. Dated November 05, 2023 @lg_canada

Thanks, Allison. I will check that out. The older i get, the more I notice my hands need moisture ALL the time. No more just lotion, full-fledged hand cream. I love Aveda Foot Relief, but can’t stand the fragrance of the Hand Relief. At Christmas they came out with a small version in Rosemary Mint that was nice. I always prefer unscented but this was light enough and pleasant and I would buy a large version in a heartbeat if they sold it.

I'm sorry, but it looks like over watering to me, too. I not an expert on succulents, but I've killed enough to know the signs. We beginners probably kill more succulents by over watering than anything else. I've finally learned the best thing to do with a succulent is plant it in a gritty, fast-draining medium and leave it alone. If you have any leaves that still look okay, pull them off and lay them on a tray on a thin layer of potting medium, bottom of the leaf touching the medium, spritz with a fine spray of water occasionally, and you can hopefully grow new plants. It takes a long time, but it's fun to watch the tiny new baby plants grow.
