I don't touch up shadows or blush when I'm out. Here are things I've in the bag:

Oil blotting sheets
Neutrogena Healthy Defense Protective Powder SPF 30
2-3 lipsticks
Almay Pure Tint in Mauve
Ocean Potion sunscreen
Sunscreen stick
Fragrance of the day
Might go into the bag: Olay Compact powder foundation

Hey, here's mine - and now I've thought about it, I think it needs some clearing out!!

Max Factor face Finity compact - really naff stuff, I need to look around for something better, this can look very caked on, urgghh!!
Calvin Klein eye pencil in brown - excellent pencil with a smudger on the other end
lipglosses - loads of them! in clear, brown and a pinky one.
MAC spice lipliner
Estee Lauder Illusionist mascara - trial size I got free
Agnes B concealer - for daytime emergencies
Mini bottles of 2 of my favourite fragrances - Lancome Miracle and Gucci Envy
breath freshner drops
tiny 'Take Away' pot of my hair wax - Charles Worthington hair putty

actually, there's nothing in there that I don't use at some time or another!!

and I keep it all in a lovely red leather mulberry purse which I got for less than 25% of the price it should have been in the sales last winter!!

In my small make up bag that I carry in my purse I have:
Cover Girl Mascara
Almay liquid eyeliner
Cover Girl Outlast lipstick-don't remember the shade
compact mirror-1 side regular, other side 5X magnified
Q tips for mascara touchups in this hot humid weather
small bottle of vanilla scented body spray-don't remember the brand
I don't use foundation or blush in the summer except for special occasions when I apply it at home, don't carry it with me.
I have been trying to downsize what I carry around but these are my absolute essentials.

RE: What is in your..

some of the above plus my little Swiss Army Knife. I never leave home without it.

RE: What is in your..

Hmmm..I'm a "put it on in the morning and forget it" girl. I only carry one lipstick, the color I choose for the day.

RE: What is in your..

:) clinique eyeliner in khaki.
revlon colorstay liquid eyeliner in bronzed something or other.
beautycontrol lipstick in burgundy brocade
meleleuca lip balm 'sun shades' vanilla flavor
LORAC 'virtues' luminescant eye colors (pink, ivory, coral, lavander)
black-black mascara that all the writing's rubbed off of, though it's less than 6 months old
The Body Shop oil blotting papers
Nelson-Bach lavander oil
Bach Rescue Cream

the only other makeup I really ever use are watercolor crayons by Crayon D'Arches, they're safe for kid's face-painting projects, and come in amazing yummy, surprisingly opaque colors.

eyeliner....that reminds me of something funny. I used to have a boss that wore black eyeliner, just a narrow line above and below. She often 'refreshed' it using a black rollerball pen! hehehe.
