I have been on a lot of boards , all kinds and subjects but I have never ran on to a board with such rude people, I answered a inquiry about MK products and it doesn't matter what product and I didn't give any product name or tried to push myself as an consultant or anything to further myself, I just tried to give some information. and It was answered with a very rude response. Also with information that was not right about Mary Kay. Any one is entitled to have an opinion and to express it. And also on the question about concealers, why is it wrong and why should the MKC leave the board, because you pushed products just like she did, just because you do not like MK or do not know about the products do not prevent other people from finding out about any product that may help them. I truly believe in the Product ,I do not always agree with the company and How they push but then it is up to me to choose how I act and conduct my business.
I think My opinion is just as important as anyone elses and I have a right to express it. But you do not have to be rude doing it. |

cjm, this board is inundated with spammers, more than any other board, imo: the mk person put her name and number and that's really annoying, yes she should go away.
Or she should contact IVillage and pay for an ad, like any advertiser should. That being said, I did not see rude responses to your posts, (unless I didn't read long enough), only to the other mk person who advertised and it was well deserved. |

Cjm, that one thread alone, the dark circle thread, has 6 spam posts! It's fine to discuss products, including Mk, but when there's advertising, then it's spam. The beauty forum does seem to attract more spam than any other forum I visit, as Mitch noted.
Please don't take it personally! Feel free to discus Mk products at length, certainly you have a right to do so. I feel like I can smell spam a mile away. There's just something that will be off; the phrasing, the spelling, the umm, blatant advertising, a weird user name, joining the same day as the post, something. |

| CJM, I read your post and thought it was fine. It was not under the "dark circles" post, it was under the post that asked if MK was any good. I did not feel at all that you were trying to sell product to any of us here -- I get the feeling you sell a product that you believe in though. The person who responded to you was at best inconsiderate. She expressed her opinion of MK based on whatever experience she had, but she stated it in a way that would be offensive to you. Reminds me of one of my coworkers -- anything that they aren't personally involved in is no good. Ignore the rude comment and please continue to chat with us! |

Thank You all for you respones , I do agree that there is a lot of spamming and I do not agree with people using the forums for that purpose.
I just like for people to know about any product that I have personal experience with. That was all I was trying to do.

Cjm,Trust me,this forum is Disney land compared to some I've been to. People in other forums literally rip each other to shreds.
Just telling the spammers to stop is most you will get from this one.
I'am not sure,but I think leaving your name and number as a Mary Kay consultant is against the terms of service.(Not saying you did that,but someone mentioned it) |

| Instead of complaining, be proactive and turn the spammers in. The site will remove their spam and you can redirect your emotions to more productive things! |
