What do you call an accessory - sometimes with a collar, sometimes with a turtleneck, that you wear under a sweatshirt or sweater?

RE: help me

A dickie! Once colder weather sets in, I often wear one here at home under a sweatshirt.

RE: help me

OMG I had no idea they still make dickies! I haven't seen one in over 30 years! I used to wear them in grade school. I had one in every color.

RE: help me

Thanks! Now I know what to look for!

RE: help me

I think they are nice for some additional warmth or style, without adding a whole additional layer of clothing. There is a big difference in the length of them as well as the prices. Some are quite skimpy, and others are longer, thus providing more warmth.

I think Thermals are good to wear.
