Beverly -- no hurry. But I really think they would have to be super tiny to work. It's hard to imagine someone making them small enough for this -- my guess is that beads will be a better size -- BUT YOU NEVER KNOW. I will be excited to see what you find. And if not, I know I can find the perfect beads to fashion some. AND, yes, I know I have a mental illness of some sort, but, well... I have an announcement: I am starting over on the stocking. I know, I know. But I keep looking at it and thinking I wish the whole foot was blue and the top of the waves were just above where the BOTTOM of the blue is. That would give me so much more room for the stocking to fold down over the palms. You can't tell in the picture, but when I appliqued on the palm trunks it "pulled" the stocking in and the fabric is bunched behind the sun to hide it -- which was very preventable because even though I turned under the edges of the trunks they have fusible on back and I didn't think to, like, hello, fuse them in place before stitching them down, so I'd love to redo that part. I also would change a couple other things just slightly but mostly I want to move the whole thing down and now that I know what goes where it's not going to take long to re-do. WELL, the hammock was a bit of a chore but I can do it while watching TV anyhow. I told DH that if I had enough fabric I wanted to start over and he got a look on his face where I knew he kind of wanted that foot all blue too. (Never mind HE is the reason it is NOT!!!!) But sometimes you just have to live with something awhile to know you don't want to live with it forever!!!! I have already cut out the red and blue for the new front.

Sue a man's elec shaver is safe. It is what we use in our family. My dermatologist was very serious about NOT pulling out hairs, he mentioned infections. After I shave with an elec shaver, I use a safety razor on my chin to get closer. My hair grows very fast. A young lady was complaining about having to shave her legs. A couple of older women said I don't have to do that anymore. The young lady said that something good about aging. I laughed and said, all that hair that was only your legs comes back on your chin. You should have seen her face.

As for the stubble question...the only place I have any actual feel of stubble is where the stupid chin whiskers are. The hair on the rest of my face is soft so when it starts growing back it doesn't feel or look like coarse hair. Since the ends are blunt cut it feels different to touch but it's fine and doesn't look weird. I don't shave every day. I'm actually not sure how often I even do it. And there's nothing wrong with peach fuzz, btw. I just think my makeup looks nicer on the smooth skin. I will say shaving does get a little tricky under my ear/side burn area. I have to be careful so it doesn't look strange there. Shaving my face isn't something I do in the shower with no mirror because of that. I totally laughed at the chin ringlet. Cindy - I've heard that about that about the gray. Some of mine seem to be partially gray now. I've been looking around recently and reading up on cost and how many treatments are recommended. Then there's the possible negatives of scarring, etc. Like anything else I know it's important to find someone who knows what they're doing. Still need to research more, but I'd like to have it done in the next few years. I made a promise to my mom if she's ever unable to take care of her chin area I'd come to the rescue! I don't like to use the word hate but I do hate chin whiskers. So not fair. It's most frustrating if you can't grab the hair or it breaks off. Ah! I need new tweezers actually. Texanjana - That has me concerned. I've heard it doesn't work on all people and I wonder why. I suppose there could be many different factors. Has she seen any decrease in hair or the coarseness of it? Lisa - LOL That one hair...that's how it starts. :) I seriously started having this chin hair issue when I was 29. I know other people in their 20s and 30s dealing with this too.

I happened upon this tutorial linked below on YouTube the other day. I quite liked what the presenter said about makeup and the mature skin. I truly like her advice about eyebrows. She does half face with what she doesn't recommend and half face with what she does recommend. I have only tried them one time so far and honestly liked the look much better than what I was doing before with an eyebrow pencil.
