Which brand of turtlencks do you like?

| With the fall shortly upon us, I am searching for a nice turtlneck--nothing too heavy or too matronly. I want a "true" turtleneck, no mocknecks, but nothing too heavy either, more of a sleeker and softer one, with a little thinner material--but not those god-awful ones that are a t-shirt material and $5.99 at the clearance bin.
I have previously tried turtlenecks from JC Penney and Walmart, but for some reason, the arms tend to shrink. Also, I'm looking for more of a sleeker turtlneck that's tapered.
If anyone has an suggestions, I would be grateful. I know a lot of people don't like turtlenecks, but turtlenecks and hoodies are my winter staple. |

| Have you tried LL Bean or Lands End? I don't know if they have what you are looking for, but you could check. |

| I have been very happy with Eddie Bauer. Although I haven't tried one of their turtlenecks, I have many cotton v-necks, scoop necks, shells, etc. from them. The cotton is a nice weight and they taper through the body. They also wash well. It's helpful to go to the store, since their sizes can vary depending on style. I wear a small in their shells, but a medium in other styles. |

| Lands End. They fit very well and launder nicely. |
