You need to finish out hardening them off regardless of the buds/blooms. You can move them to final medium if that is a container where you can move it around. You can't just stick it out in the full sun and wind right away. Definitely not the ones that will go in the ground as they will be exposed to whatever mother nature sends your way and they likely are not ready for that yet. I went from silk wraps because they caused my nails to be even thinner and didn't like the growing out periods to using Onymyrrh but DeLore stopped selling it. I found a product called Onymyrrhe that seems to work as well. I like it because you don't have that polish look to take off and on. You massage it in for less than a minute and then wash your hands. You can use it over your polish or on your bare nails as you rub it into your matrix an cuticle. A search on Google will give you sources. It lasts forever which is why DeLore no longer sells it.

Thank you for posting about this, joanne_fla!!! First, olejoyful, I believe that ingesting knox gelatin completely improved my nails. I used it for that *many* years ago!!! I was a kid who bit my nails. My neighbor kept giving me knox gelatin, saying it would make me stop biting them. She'd add it to orange juice or whatever. I not only stopped biting my nails, I had fingernails that all other women envied. Everyone asked if they were real. Fastforward: I completely abuse my hands and nails. I use my nails as tools both in the garden and in the house, and have hands in water too much, so there has been constant nail damage. I've used this Nailtiques Formula 2 for just over a week, and have forgotten to apply it some of those days, but my nails look and feel great! Excellent product. Thanks again!

I was a nail biter for years. I never wore polish because I was ashamed of my nails. Then at age 48 I suffered a massive hemmorragic (sp?) stroke. Apparently the nail biting part of my brain was destroyed. My nails grew in the hospital while I recovered. Ten years later I get weekly manicures, and the polish seems to protect my nails. I also take 1,000 or 2,000 units of Vitamin D3 daily. Between the two, my nails are lovely. I do wear gloves for gardening and washing dishes. Occasionally I will remove the polish and dip my fingertips in straight olive oil. Soak them 5 minutes, wipe off the residue but rub a little oil into the cuticles. My doctor thinks it's great that I treat myself to a weekly manicure!
