I conducted a pruning experiment this year, on peppers. I found no beneficial effect for leaf pruning on pepper production. The control plant (not pruned at all) has more peppers on it now than any of the leaf-pruned ones. I'd agree with TomT226 that it only makes sense to prune off the leaves that are touching the soil. The one pruning method that has resulted in a more robust plant with more peppers is to pluck out the early buds. Once the plant got about a foot high, I let it keep its buds. It now has more small peppers on it than the control plant, which has a few big peppers.

im way late for this but if someone finds this by looking on google like i did i hope this is helpful i am 25 an weight 238 im not trying to advertize a dit pill or any thing just want to share my experiance i am on the generic form of adapex an it has help alot i was 250 i lost 6 pounds in 7 days my problem is not eating people often say oh push away from the table but thats not my reason for being over weight i just eat at the wrong times an i have no energy for excrise because lets face it if ur at my wight walking up the stairs is a chore its tireing but with adapex it has made everything so much easier it makes u have engery so u can work out its RX only diet pill if ur on medicade it does not pay for it but the generic is $30 an the adapex is $50 a month now take in mind u can lose weight with it an not exceerise but i would not recomend it for people like me cause we have to tone the fat an if you do go get on it make sure u drink alot of water i cant drink soda or tea or anything on it i crave water an i think that helps alot i feel dydrated if i dont sooo good luck to anyone that reads this I hope if you do try it u get the same results as i am!!!! =)

I just had my *second* eye job. I inherited the big fat bags and loose skin under my eyes from my dad, and the drooping uppers from my mom. They actually rested on top of my lashes. I always looked tired and looked older. I wore glasses all the time to disguise the bags underneath. I had the first done at 32. Doc told me it would last anywhere from 8 - 12 years. He was right. I'm turning 48 next month and got my second job in June. I don't look 'plastic' at all. I still have small bags under my eyes, but they are minimal and make my eyes look natural for my age. I don't regret either surgery for a second...I hated the way my eyes looked so I fixed them! For anyone seriously thinking about getting surgery, try to talk to people who have had it done. If you like the way they turned out, get their doctor's name. The docs show you before and after pictures of people they've done, but obviously they only put the best results in their sample book! Also discuss your expectations vs what can actually be done with your doctor. ie, a tummy tuck will definitely improve your overall look, but don't expect the washboard tummy of a 20 year old :) Finally, if you smoke, you must quit! At minimum, 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the surgery. People who smoke are not only at higher risk during anesthesia, but they do NOT heal as quickly or as well. I also did the teeth whitening thing. $200 for the tray and gel. I only did my upper teeth because my lower teeth don't show, even when I smile. Made a huge difference, and I can do a 'tune up' if needed in the future. Otherwise, I would like a neck lift - getting pretty crepey there - but it's not terrible, so I'll leave that be :)
