I want to buff my nails

| I have been wearing nail polish for years, but my nails and cuticles are dry. I want a more natural look. I want to buff my nails. I bought a buffing kit and it takes too long to get a shine. There used to be a cream sold for buffing, but I can't seem to buy any. I've looked in many stores. Anyone familiar with this ? Where can I buy buffing cream? Who makes it? What are the main ingredients? I was thinking of trying household products. I even considered putting floor polish on my nails. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

I would try the Tweezerman SPA nail buffer and file first. It's cheap ($1.99 at Drugstore.com) and I've found that it give a better shine than a standard buffer. You can probably just massage safflower oil on your nails as needed. I've also used Burt's Bees cuticle cream. It's more like a wax but it does seem to help. |
