Foundation ?

Can anyone recommend a foundation with maximum coverage (sun blotches, you know) for "mature" skin. I don't want a matte finish, a more moist, dewy finish is what I prefer. I'm using Revlon Age Defying 'all day lifting' foundation and I like the texture, but it's really a light coverage and I'm looking for more coverage.

Anybody?

I use Paula Begoun's books - 'Don't go the the Cosmetics Counter without me' - to answer just those kind of questions. Here is the link to her website, and you can find her books on amazon, etc.

Thanks, Jessy, (I mean, I guess it's Jessica, that sounds so formal for you:) I'd love to check out her books! I don't usually get too much into makeup, I'm a pretty simple, basic kind of gal. But suddenly this face of mine is turning old, ugh, and it needs a bit more attention.

Zero way of knowing from the limited info provided, and unfortunately it is not really a question that can be answered over the internet. I would say it has zero to do with encapsulating your crawl space and more than likely if something moving. As far as settling, how old if the home?

Don't paint the foundation. Looks fine as is. Get a new screen door. Add a wide planter with a tall shrub on the far left side of the house to the left of the basement window, sitting on the gravel area. That is the most open area of foundation and could use a bit of distraction. Buy or borrow and inexpensive patio bench and chairs and stage the patio area for pictures, even though you don't use it that way. Someone else could. (I've lived in patio furniture theft areas and there are ways to do it.)

" I am getting engineer involved to approve anything. " That is really the only advice anyone here can offer. Have the engineer approve the solution, The "sketch" you gave is not enough info. It involves more than just the concrete wall.

Hi, My house was built in 1910. I have a couple home issues occurring that I really need advice for. The foundation is starting to crack & flake off in spots. The front porch is poured concreconcrete from the 70’s. The steps are crumbling. The entire porch is pulling away fro the house. Also, there is concrete sidewalk around half the house. There is a gap between the concrete & sidewall. Also, concrete stairs leading to the patio.See attached pictures. I would greatly appreciate any tips to improve these issues on my own or what kind of contractor I should contact. I am extremely overwhelmed Thank you!

LOL woodie! You can call me anything you want. The only folks who call me Jessy is forum folks, my father and DS's baseball coach. DH set up my email for me years ago - 'Jessy' - and it stuck. Don't care what I'm called as long as it's not late for dinner.

FYI Begoun also has a book about hair care produts, helpful now that I'm totally salt and pepper...

Try L'Oreal's Visible Lift extra coverage. Very dewy finish, super coverage without feeling too heavy.

Ho Woodie, I would also suggest going to the Este or Lancome counter, Arden, Mac etc. and ask them the same question, they all have good products and they will gladly give you a fair size sample of their products to try before you invest. Heck with enough samples you won't have to 'invest' anything.
By the way I love that book "Don't go to the Cosmetic Counter....." she tells it like it is and saves you lots of costly 'mistakes'.
