Close enough ;) (Could be 5/16, depends on how small the increments go on your tape measure ;) Anywho, still not a big diameter. I'd try the filler first. When it's good and dry, whatever the diameter of the screw you'll be using is, pre-drill a hole with a drill bit that's smaller in diameter than the screw you'll be using. For example, you've got the 3/8" hole filled, the filler is now dried hard. Let's say you're using a screw that's 1/8" in diameter. Take a 5/64 or 3/32 drill bit and gently drill a hole where you want the screw to go. (Pre-drilling creates a hole that acts as a guide for the screw to follow without tearing up or splintering the wood.) Go slow and be sure to keep the drill bit level. Don't go any deeper than the length of the screw you'll be using. (A tip: if the screw is 1 1/2" long, you can put a piece of painter's or electrical tape on your drill bit 1 1/2" down from the tip. That tape is then your guide point to stop drilling, so you're not drilling deeper than the screw is long. You can even stop a tad shorter than the tape.) Then take the 1/8" screw and if you can, start the screw with a screwdriver so you have more control. It might take some "oomph" on your part, but you should be able to get the screw started, and make sure it's level, just like the hole it's supposed to go in. Don't let it tip upward or downward. If you can't get it started with a screwdriver, use your drill but keep in on low speed setting and use gentle even pressure. (Don't go at it too fast, the screw can jiggle and wobble and create a bigger hole.) Once the screw is started into the pre-drilled hole, if you can finish screwing it in with a screwdriver, great. (That will take some muscle on your part but there's less likelihood of stripping another screw.) If you just can't get the screw to go in with a screwdriver, then use your drill, but again keep it on low speed, use gentle even pressure on the drill to avoid stripping the screw. If it even looks like that screw wants to strip, stop, reverse the drill and remove the screw or take it out by hand with a screwdriver. Then start again with a different screw (same size). As you've experienced, and has happened many times to me, getting a stripped screw out is a royal pain. Oh, and for future reference should you need it, Sears/Craftsman makes a handy little kit that is strictly for removing stripped screws, the tips go on your drill. (Won't work on a screw where the head has broken off, tho.)

Well, I’ve done it now! Bought the DHA drops for my face. Instructions said to mix 2-12 drops with moisturizer and apply. I used 4 drops. Here is an actual photograph…. Totally ORANGE! Fortunately, I have nothing pressing to do for the next couple of days. In a minute, I’m going to use a resurfacing face mask to see if I can strip some of it off! I used the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Coconut Water Mousse on my legs. They are much more natural looking except for the one spot I missed. The mousse comes out white but is colorless when applied making it hard to see what might have been missed. I used a mitt to apply it. I live in a college town. Surely there is a good spray tan place here. I just don’t know how to find it! The spa I usually go to has cut way back on their services because of staffing problems. It appears that spray tans is one of the services that has been eliminated.
