I am having this problem currently with my Roma tomatoes. It is late in the season and I think the plants are stressed from both the white flies and age--but I've left the tomatoes on the vine or put in the sun if they dropped off on their own and the ripening process has continued. The tomatoes taste good still too so I have still been eating them. My concern and search/research was motivated by a desire to know if eating the fruits would have any negative affects health wise. This has been harder to find. No chemicals just bugs--I can share. Hoping all is well.

actually what papayas do, is steal minerals and nutrients from the bottom leaves to send to the top leaves when they are growing fast. (in lots of sun) The bottom leaves drop normally after a time. Often they go yellow or white first. Im not saying that its NOT sunburn, but i would keep that in mind. Papaya LOVE the sun. I live in New Orleans and am growing several. I am looking for seeds of other varieties to grow. We can trade if you like ? Most of mine are Caribbean Red, (type of Maradol) or just plain Maradol. I have a few others but they are still small. Thank you very much mongoct. This is very helpful. I took these pictures before you post, borrowing the glass guy's leveler. We didnt know what to look for as far as depth is concerned. It does not look like enough, does it? I believe the shower is 5 ft. long. When he comes back with his leveler, we'll measure the drop. On a side note, the installer had set the valves too low for hot water. He came over to adjust them. In another shower (he did two), the water was pooling at one end. The installer said that wasnt right and that he would fix it. On the above shower, I pointed the sh. head towards the wall, and the water drained some, but not all of it...maybe an 1/8" sat there. I had to push it into the drain. Now I am worried this guy is incompetent. How hard are these things to fix? He was recommended by the architect and does multimillion dollar homes!

It's only been four days. It's still green. I would give it a little time to cure out. I've had colored decks that took weeks to achieve the final color. You have to remember that concrete is its own beast. No matter what we do to it to prevent it from discoloring or cracking it does what it wants to do. Concrete curing is dependent upon many factors such as time of day it is poured, humidity etc. I would not hold a check on your contractor due to something that is out of his control. Hope this helps.
