I have tried BE, sheercover and etc. Thought BE was great but made me itchy. Sheercover-covers up but made me look too oily in T-zone area. They both, as will as most makeup containa BISMUT OXYCHLORIDE- which causes acne to worsen, irritate and spread. And also clogs pore. I have acne so I was out on a search and found that Everyday Minerals was the best for giving out free samples, generous amount. Carla, we are in the same boat. I'm trying to get myself (skin, hair, and figure) in better shape for my son's wedding this summer and have recently started using Olay Definity Pore Redefining Scrub and Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream (spf 15). I think cleaning your skin with something targeted for your "problems" is every bit as important as putting on a cream or lotion. And really effective cleansing should help with the breakouts you mentioned. I've only been using these products for about a week but I can already see improvement - really! My skin looks and feels smoother and looks more even in tone. Even the dreaded pores look a bit better. I expect that part to take a while but I am very pleased with the results so far. I've gotten compliments - without make up. Neither of these products is very expensive and a little goes a long way. I think they are well worth the price and the effort to use them consistently.

Here's an update - from my sister, the aesthetician: "First of all, make sure she is not using soap on her skin. She needs a good moisturizing cleanser for the face.Scrubbing will also make it worse. If she is on meds, that can cause a change in the skin. Not enough "good" fats in the body. Hot water. Wrong type of moisturizer for her skin type. Change in diet meaning eating something that she might not have been eating before. And as always with us female folk, hormonal changes can play a big part in changes in the skin. It might not be Lubriderm, it might be her body that is changing. I would suggest having a facial treatment with a licensed aesthetician. Ask friends, family, who they have gone to and enjoyed, the same as you would about a doctor or dentist. If she is flaking, it may be the beginning signs of psoriasis or exzema. In that case, she needs to see a physician. I would say a holistic physician since I have been told by some of my clients that the drugs given out by the regular physicians don't do well. Water, right now. There is a slight nitrogen deficiency, but right now your plants are very water stressed. When they are just starting to need water the leaves will cup upward a bit, but when they're really thirsty they will droop downwards, still cupped. Your trees need deep watering quickly. Also, just for your future information, never fertilizer a dry plant. Luckily you put it all in a hole away from most of the roots, which isn't the best way to fertilizer in general, but in this case it may have saved your plants, because the fertilizer wasn't dissolved into the dry soil. So when you do water, add a lot to the area you added the plant food. If you're ever unsure if they need water or if they're still damp, take a wooden dowel or a take-out chopstick and push it down into the soil and pull it out again and check the dampness of the wood. It's a quick and easy way to check. Sometimes the soil can look dry on top but still be wet further down. And on the other hand, it's hard to tell if a soil is dry when it's covered with bark and plastic. Bark is good, plastic is not so much. I'd take it up and just leave the bark. Weeds won't grow too much in the shade of the trees, and if they do, just pull them out.
