hi-

what do you think is most important in a necklace clasp: attractiveness, adjustability, or ease of use?

I think it depends on the necklace. If it's an expensive necklace, then I would want it to be really secure (and after that, maybe look good). If it's a cheapie, I would probably just want it to be easy to use and/or look good.

I agree with Mrs.Jrs.

I have a beautiful cross pendant which I had made from my grandmother's diamonds. I would rather have something very secure than something that looks good (re: how to keep it on my neck).

I use ribbons, too. It's very pretty! I went and bought spools of thin satin ribbon at Olde Tyme Pottery and I quadruple knot the ribbon onto my neck (as a choker) with the cross pendant. It stays put until I scissor it off.
