recurva - highlighting 1000's files - short cut?
Comments (3)Found the answer by not using that blasted wizard. Checked the box to not show the wizard at startup. Then closed and reopened Recurva and there was the advanced (?) interface. Using Advanced: after the scan there was a box beside filename at the top. Checked it and automatically it placed a check beside each filename. Whew. Looks like everything except 3 files are recoverable. In 2 hours it will be on the desktop's D: drive. Including the tree structure which I checked under options. Glad it was only the 2 major directories (folders with subs)....See MoreHow much does a cut in granite cost?
Comments (21)It got done. Home Expo was a nightmare. i got over the shock of paying $490, but then they tried to add on more charges. I had about four calls with them this week and each time they gave me a different total due that they were unable to justify (then they would say, "I'll call you back..." and the whole process would start over again). The final conversation was an exercise in frustration with a woman who couldn't understand basic math. Finally the installer saved the day by giving her a face-saving out when he suggested that she move a number around in her system. If it wasn't for the installer I don't know what I would have done. It ended up costing $490 for cutting the granite (plus $170 I had already paid for installation), which I'm fine with because it was two guys and it did take them a long time. The guy who cut the granite said he's only had a problem once. They cut it free hand and it's not perfect, but I don't see how they could have done better without removing it. I am relieved to have it done and grateful to the installer, but I will never buy from Home Expo again. Nobody knew what was going on, nobody could answer a question, more than one person said one thing and then denied it later........See MoreHow much to charge to cut 1 acre of grass
Comments (4)Prices vary greatly in different geographical regions due to competition but prices here, if they use their own equipment rather than using yours, provide their own gas, and require only minimal edging or trimming, range from approx. $70 to $125 per acre. If you provide the riding equipment and gas and nothing but flatland mowing is involved you could get someone for approx. $15-25 per hour....See MoreCut how much off young plant with black spot?
Comments (11)I personally wouldn't spray that hot, try early morning or early evening. I say early evening because i want it to dry well before night time. Seil you gave the perfect advice. I rarely romove leaves only because I don't have that kind of time with all the other yard work needed, but I do pluck the yellow occassionally just to make the bush look nicer. Nobody sees green leaves with black spot on them from a distance, but they will see the yellow. The rose is no longer gainining anything from a yellow leaf. I live in an area that is just prone to black spot, but I honestly do not spray very often. When I notice a rose is getting blackspot I sparay with Bayer then again in ten days and I find I don't have to spray again for awhile. Most sprays tell you every two weeks. I don't have that kind of time, nor do I enoy the job, lol!...See Moreponderinstuff
