Shoe color help please
Comments (14)I don't know what your budget is...but you maybe able to find dyed shoes at a place like Payless or somewhere. It was a while ago, but I had shoes dyed for a wedding I was in and they were really cheap. Granted, they may be too cheap or in styles you don't like, but you may be able to find something somewhere else. If you're spending money to switch off buttons, etc. I wouldn't rule out dyed shoes. Your dress, to me, is just calling out "matching shoes"!...See MoreShoe suggestions for a wedding And walking
Comments (8)I think a whole lot depends on what you plan to wear to the wedding. My dressy uniform always involves black pants, usually Eileen Fisher. If you wear black pants with a great top or jacket, you can get away with something functional/comfortable on your feet, IMO. I have some dressy-ish sandals from Aravon, which is a division of New Balance. Also just bought some incredibly comfortable clogs from Softwalk. Not too dressy, though. I also have some patent alligator loafers I wear when I dress up. I suggest you place a big order with Zappo's, try everything on and send back whatever doesn't work. My feet are wicked wide (at least I think that's what the WW stands for) and my options are limited. For better or worse, you will probably have more choices. Zappo's is your friend! Here is a link that might be useful: Aravon...See MoreI have a shoe question....wedding
Comments (14)Don't be afraid to take your comfortable and safe shoes along and change at some point later in the festivities - once you've made your appearance no one is going to care if you choose to put something on your feet more typical of what you would usually wear. I've seen brides not accustomed to heels with sneakers under their gowns mid-way through the reception:) You can't have your best time if your feet hurt and this is a day you should enjoy yourself - if it means not confining your feet to skimpy sandals for hours and hours and going home in pain, no one is going to mind you changing your footwear....See MoreWedding outfit help needed, please
Comments (43)Now I'm completely torn. Since my current shoes sorta, kinda, work and are comfortable to wear, I feel I should use them. Save some money, be prudent, etc. but, oh, those shoes you have all posted! I love the strappy sandals with the ankle strap! I ordered a bag online that may work with my shoes. It is a navy patent leather envelope clutch with a strap. (The toes on my shoes are patent leather) if it doesn't work I'm starting over with your suggestions. Im also a sucker for this straw/leather bag from talbots (thanks rubyclair for Talbots's link) I shouldn't, right?...See Moremichelle_phxaz
