Great choice for a tree if you can give it a happy place.....If you have zero soil for roots to grow into and this tree is limited to growing inside a pot, bigger is better.One of the two 7 year old Pak. m/b planted in brown clay here now has an 8" trunk. The other is about 5".If the soil that you filled up your pot with was not draining well, the plant could be 'drowning' and the leaves could look like that.Not being a true-blue plant CSI, one could guess that the brown leaf edging indicated that. One could use a metal kitchen fork to excavate soil to see how deep into the potting soil the moisture was being maintained. If you made a skinny hole several inches below the top and found a sloppy wet zone that would not gradually drain/dry, bingo.On the other hand, if it is rapidly drying out after your limted water supply arrives, keep increasing the doses and dig another peep hole to compare. The term 'potting soil' has no exact recipe-type standardized formula. It is up to you to see how it drains or holds the water that is poured into it. Like the vets trying to figure out why the sick dog is sick, plant growers wish that the sick critters would just tell us where it hurts.

I hate to say but could be a burn mark from water reflecting in sunlight...but I fear the other can be root rot, This can sometimes happen if water gets traped inside the new growth and not enough air and sunlight to dry it out before damage. I Recently lost a vanda due to several factors. First moving from one apartment to another. Secondly ,a severe weather change went from 100 % humidity and 85 degrees to 30 % humidity and windy and low fourties. I was too busy spraying the bare roots to notice damage was going on in the tip. I saw yellow leaves on bottom removed them thinking it was from the shock of cold weather. I also know some times vandas loose bottom leaves as they grow. But..hidden up above was traped water damage?. How do the lower leaves look? Has the plant been getting sun in mornings shade afternoons and a lot of humidity? Chances are not so and spraying could have been traped as said .Vandas need a good air circulation to dry out as well. Explain what the plant has been through and where you are and is this a staped leave or semi terete? Is this bare root in a hanging basket or poted ?What is the filler surrounding it if any? Tell me what the plant is in..Thanx

The older pigments had iron oxide in them. The newer ones do not. I had brows & lips done, & I love it. The brows did turn a pinkish brown at first, due to the body absorbing some of the pigment, but the technician, who had warned me that this sometimes happens, corrected it, & I haven't had a problem since. This was nearly 3 years ago. The way she explained it, the immune system tries to carry the pigment away; this is why your first application will pale. It isn't "fading", it's going deeper into the skin, & your 2nd application will correct this. Be sure you get a licensed technician: there are a LOT of unlicensed people out there doing really ugly jobs. My technician's neighbor had her brows done for $50, & she now has blue-black funky eyebrows that take longer to make up in the mornings than her old eyebrows did! As the above posts said, check before & after photos, be sure she has a license, find out how long she's been in the beauty business, & be sure you get to come back for a touch-up or follow-up if needed. Story: Janie, the hairdresser/permanent make-up tech in my building, has a lot of older ladies who have lost color, faded, had their eyebrows thin to nothingness (or never had brows to begin with). She did lips for a lady who always looked like she disapproved, 'cause she had no lips: it looked like she had set her mouth in a stern expression. Now, at the age of 68, she has beautiful lips! Hi, Letter! No problem with the questions - my pleasure. The brand and model # of the fridge is in my very first post. And yes, we have a "wall" on the right side of our fridge, too. See what's green in the above photo? That's the wall. (It "jigs" then, beside and behind the fridge) What's creamy white is all cabinet and trim. I think you can better see what I am trying to explain if you look at the two pictures of the plans, posted very early in this thread. That should make it clearer to you. Let me know. We couldn't recess the fridge, either, our steps to our upstairs are on the other side of that back wall. But I think the counter-depth fridge works nicely to really look "built-in". I really love the fridge, BTW. It is beautiful, works GREAT, holds a TON, and is so user-friendly! The granite overhangs the peninsula 11.5" and I think it's perfect. Even my 6+ foot tall hubby doesn't have any trouble. And the peninsula seating and the table nearby is also quite nice. I find that we tend to use the bar mostly for informal breakfasts and snacks, and the table for dinner. And while we don't have small children anymore (or grandbabies yet!) I can envision (for larger meals) the kids sitting at the bar while the grown-ups sit close-by at the table.
