Has L'Oreal discontinued this foundation? I remember it just came out maybe a year or two ago and today at Walmart I couldn't find any anywhere. They were pushing that other stuff - can't remember the name - but I noticed they don't have my shade. I am so sick of this - I find something that works and then they can it!

It's still on their website so I don't think it's been discontinued. Have you checked other stores?

I was only in a grocery store and in Walmart ... and their display wasn't anywhere at Walmart - so I panicked! I just wondered if anyone had heard anything. I also saw it on their website so that's a good sign.

Hi Jenny You guys could tell us a few things about blush (blushERs in the UK!!) - what a collection, I'm really impressed!! I have the Nars blush in Orgasm...I agree with Kris that the names are awful, and asking for them in the store is really not funny, but it's worth it, esp for the Orgasm colour which is very versatile and has some lovely understated gold flecks which are lovely. I also have a darker one by Bobbi Brown, i think it's called Sandstone. That goes well when I'm tan or have a bronzer on my skin. BB blushes are also a bit more matte than others and look more understated if you don't want too much colour. My favourite one though, is one which I just bought this week. It is Lancome, from their new colour range. It is a creme blush, the colour is Summertime and I have to say that a creme blush is much more natural and also lasts longer than any powder blush I have tried. I used to use Benetint on my cheeks, but you have to be so quick in blending etc and applying it is a skill, that I got a bit fed up that there was no way you can easily alter the colour or depth of the blush as easily as you can with other kinds of blush. So, I would say for a powder blush, Nars are the best, but do check out the Lancome creme blush bcos it's the best one I've ever tried!! Edith

Phyllis, I used to use Mattique and I liked it for the coverage and the matte look. I did find that at the end of the day, I think the color turned a bit orangey. Nowadays, my skin is older (how did that happen, lol) and I find a more moist look is better - I look pretty dead with too much matte! I use L'Oreal Visible Coverage (recommended by a forum friend here, by the way) and it provides pretty good coverage which I need for blotches. I know you're much younger than me, lucky girl!

I must have missed the memo about white subways when I was doing up my kitchen 3 yrs ago. It never dawned on my that there might be ONE fashion that everyone was doing because it was "classic" and "timeless". I just headed to every tile store in town and tried to find one whose colours matched my cabs and counters. I saw hundreds of lovely tiles, all of which would have made stunning backsplashes in the appropriate settings. I'm sure I would have found hundreds more had I not found THE tiles for me at the 3rd or 4th shop. But then, I'm all about colour. Fabulous materials and textures are totally wasted if the colours don't coordinate. My neighbours spent 3x what I did on my kitchen, and totally fell in love with glass tiles, even though there were none in the palette their KD provided that went with their granite. For what they spent, they should have ended up with a Spectacular Kitchen. What they got was sorta ok, because they didn't understand colour.

I finally found some at K-Mart. Watch they'll go under and then I'll be searching again! I did think of the drugstores, whazzup, so that will be my next stop. I just can't believe Walmart doesn't carry it anymore. Strange.

Wal-mart only carries the top-selling products of all their lines and brands of anything so, if only you and two other customers are buying that product or color or size, they drop it in a New York minute. A real department store might be a better place to look if you have that option. All the Wal-marts around me have stopped selling Love Pats panties and I live in such a small town that there aren't many other places to shop. They (Wal-mart) have created such a tight market that a lot of us don't have any real options when looking for a product that they don't carry. Thank goodness for the web and sites like this!

Looking again for this product ...

Anyone else seen it? Is Air Wear the same thing? I absolutely hate searching for new foundation. I found a bottle (a shade lighter) at Rite Aid and don't know if it will work - but it was $2.99 a bottle so I'm hitting every Rite Aid in the area today to see if I can get more! LOL

Don't know if it's the same thing, but I'd highly recommend "Air Wear". It's the only foundation I'll use, because I can't even feel it when it's on at all. It's the one I'd be going nuts over if they ever discontinue it... :-)

I was wondering about this stuff...because it's basically packaged in the same bottle only with a different label. I thought about it but wanted to be sure I could return it if the color wasn't right. One I did check out was so thin it was like water, which I don't like. I wonder if they dc'd Translucide because VItamin C can be very unstable, especially if the product has been opened - at least in it's medicinal state. They probably realized that over time it might not have had any benefit and pulled it. I, however, liked the little "sparklies" in it and it made me look glowing! For once! LOL
