flat warts

does anyone had these flat warts like under the eyes? and is there anything to help remove them? Seems like its multiplying slowly under my eyes. pls help b/4 i see a dermotologist. thanks

The only person who can help you with this is a dermatologist.

DO NOT try wart removal, from around the eyes, yourself. This is not a DIY project.

They are not warts,they are called milla.Usually caused by a heavy moisterizer.A dermatologist can remove them with a needle...dont attempt to do this yourself! Cut out any heavy,or oily type products you are using under the eye and they should lessen.

I haven't had planters wart since I was very little, but a few years ago, I had a wart on the side of my face and found that Edgar Cayce recommended castor oil for warts. I'm not sure how I learned about black walnut, but one day I was walking in the parking lot at work and found a crushed black walnut and rubbed the fruit on my wart. Then, I started using the castor oil and the wart was gone in few days. Planer's warts are very painful, too. I found this online specifically recommended by Cayce for plantars' warts. Hope this isn't redundant. This is a long thread... It would be nice if this solution worked for all warts, but it seems from the readings that there are some instances where the warts require a different approach. In this case, the situation appears to be plantar warts, a painful situation indeed! Here, Cayce suggests mixing spirits of camphor with baking soda. The first is without a doubt in my mind a Galeuse d'Eysines also known as Courge Brodee Galeuse, Galeux d'Eysines, Giraumon Galeux d'Eysines and warted sugar marrow depending on where you go. Today actually I saw a guy selling some referring to them as "a new peanut pumpkin", but anyway they are about 11.5" in diameter and 6.5" inches high and are about 18 pounds. Here is a Picture: http://underwoodgardens.com/catalog/images/PumpkinBrodede.gif The second I am not as sure about but I think it could be a Marina di Chioggia also known as Chioggia sea pumpkin, Zucca Barucca and Zucca Santa depending on your location. It is 11" in diameter and 7" high and are about 11 pounds. Thanks healthy-oil-guy, The ad on TV makes it look like it works in one application......no wonder they put 12 applications in the package! We'll see how the Compound W works and go from there. He has a skin tag of some sort on his nose which will require a dermatologist......so if this doesn't work on his wrist wart, we'll have the dermatologist take care of that too. Warts are weird. I had a couple when I was younger, and it just doesn't make sense where they choose to grow. Thanks for your help. P.S. What kind of healthy oil are you into? Fish?Flax?Coconut? Just curious! :)

It may not cost less to renovate than to build new, but that may not be the point. The new place sounds like something I would snap up in a minute. It sounds like it has great lines, nice features, a fabulous lot, and is a nice space. The location sounds fine to me - not that I know Chicago - but then I live in a small stretch of houses in a semi-industrial area myself. And I guess we are old house nerds :-) We took on an old house when we had a toddler, and we did it in complete ignorance of what it would take to fix it, just because it appealed to us, we like old things, we're handy and we like projects, we liked the location... and because we liked the woodwork (trust me, it's not the same to move it. It just fits here). We had a year of weekends in advance of moving in to do major work, and I would recommend a similar chunk of time but many people seem able to dispense with it. That gave my parents a lot of time with our toddler, which they enjoyed, no matter how misguided they thought our endeavor was. And there's no question that it was misguided, given that we were heading into what were going to be the busiest years of our lives anyway. There's no question it's been a tough row to hoe, and sometimes the house feels like a millstone on our lives. However, I don't think anyone could have talked us out of it, and if they had, I'd always be wondering "what if?" As it is, we've had the experience and we could sell any time. And that is perhaps a key, this proposed house sounds like it can only be improved. So even if they go for it, do a bit of the work and decide it's too much, they can probably sell it as a better product than it is now. Your DS/DIL sound as if they have had some experience with renovations, and as if their taste in houses is consistent. It also sounds like a logical step up in many ways - better street, better neighbourhood, slightly bigger. Doesn't sound stupid to me, even if it is different from what you would do in their shoes. And that's what we have trouble accepting as parents, isn't it? As far as money goes, the nice thing about renovation vs. new construction is that with renovation, there is some hope that you can earn the money at the pace that it needs to be spent. With new construction, you take on a big debt. That may feel more daunting to them than the work needing to be done in this house does to you. KarinL

I've studied on medicinal herbs and here's something I've read but I've never tried on anyone since I don't know anyone with a wart.
take a dandelion stem and squeeze the milky juice out, dab that on the wart.
just something I've read once.

Try witch hazel on a cotton ball at night. My daughter's disappeared after using this to minimize pores.

Let me repeat......... do not atttempt wart removal from around the eyes yourself!

This is not a DIY project. There is to great of a chance for things to go wrong. The skin around the eyes is very different from skin on the rest of the body, using acid or freezing is too strong to attempt at home.

Also there is a chance that an inexperienced person could actually damage their eyes is the chemicals get into them.

Sure, try at home wart removal for the warts on your hand or elsewhere but not for anywhere near a mucous membrane.

Although the OP asked about wart removal, I am sure it is just what coolmama said; milla. Warts are a virus and CAN grow anywhere. OP should see a dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis.

These may be cholesterol deposits. They are not unusual, and look like slightly lighter than your skin color, slightly raised bumps, easy to confuse with warts. My sister says they can also be caused by caffeine! Many of these type of things can also indicate other health problems, so you should have them checked out. I have two under one eye, and since they're relatively unobtrusive, I just don't worry about them. My dermatologist checks me over every year, and hasn't said anything adverse about them. I would not try to treat these at home. The area around the eyes is very sensitive, and using anything even slightly corrosive such as wart treatments runs the risk of getting into the eye. If these are really bothering you, go to a dermatologist. Don't try to treat them yourself, it's too dangerous!

Use salicylic acid to treat warts at home. It is a very effective but slow treatment. It will take many months before the warts vanish completely. Though slow, this treatment is highly potent, easier, cheaper and causes less pain than other treatments.

I was thinking they might be cholestrol bumps as well. We had a family friend that had a lot of them, although hers were above the eyelid. They certainily resembled flat warts.

My husband has a lot of flat warts on his legs. The doctor gave him retin A to get rid of them because there were so many. Maybe you can get wrinkle treatment and remove warts all at once :-)
